There is a difference between having a PhD in mathematics or theology and being endowed with the Holy Spirit; keep that in your conscious mind, as it will be a great help to you on your assignment.
Do We Still Have Prophets In This Dispensation? Don’t Let The Name Prophet Scare You, Prophet Simply Means A Messenger.
There are prophets of God, and Prophets of Baal also exist; many people have misinterpreted Luke 16:16 to suggest that there will be no more prophets. The following is what the scripture says, “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John… Many people’s interpretations of the scriptures agree that there is no more prophet. However, there is a record in which Jesus himself mentions, “As my Father sent me, I also sent you.” Believers in Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit, please revisit your Bible and ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance for interpretation and deeper understanding. The above scripture says, “Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides, what Jesus was telling His disciples was, He is with them now, but when He leaves, the Holy Spirit will be the one to take charge of their lives, not Torah.
Here Are Some Questions Below That Can Challenge And Change Believers In Christ’s Ways Of Interpretation Or Reasoning.
1. What is the good news that Jesus sent believers to go and preach to the world?
2. Is everyone teaching or preaching the good news as Jesus preached, and sending His disciples to go and do the same?
3. Who are the people who are supposed to be preaching the good news, and what are they called?
Individual answers to the above questions may broaden believers’ understanding of Christ’s knowledge and provide them with a deeper understanding of what the word’ prophet’ means in the new dispensation. But believers in Christ will not need a Ph.D. in mathematics, architecture, biochemistry, or theology to understand the answer.
Jesus said, “I am sending them into the world.” Are we genuinely preaching what He sent us?
Who is a Prophet of God?
A prophet of God is one whom God has chosen and sent; in other words, the Holy Spirit licenses and empowers believers in Christ. A Prophet of God can also be termed as someone God approved and sent on an errand to continue delivering His messages to His children, or let me say, the entire world, as God pleases. For example, “Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid! Go tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see me there.” Matthew 28:10.
“Does that mean Jesus Christ forgot to inform his brothers earlier of where they would meet him? Not at all! He didn’t forget; He told them in advance, even before He was arrested. However, for a reason best known to His disciples, they didn’t believe Him; perhaps they had forgotten. Anyway, to cut the story short, they did not obey His command.
Whether in the Old or New Testaments, in the past, or the current dispensation, a messenger of God or a Prophet remains a messenger, but their office and mode of operation may differ.
1 Samuel Chapter 16: “The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” But Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me”
In the book of John, chapter 17:18-20, Jesus says, “Just as you sent me into the world, I am sending them into the world. And I give myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by your truth.
“I am praying not only for these disciples but also for all who will ever believe in me through their message.“
The book of Acts, Apostle chapter 22:21 mentioned “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’
The first thing I will share with you is to prepare your will, which is a legal document for the distribution of your properties, if you have any, and entrust your family to God. “What if I have concluded to sell all my properties and give the money to the poor?” There may be nothing wrong with your idea, but the other side of what you have decided to do is that you, too, will become poor. Your new status may give you the privilege of knowing better what others, less privileged, were and are passing through or enduring, and it might be the other way around.
However, you will have a firsthand experience in understanding the difference between Faith in Jesus Christ and the various forms of faith that are often manipulated, such as tithing, first fruits, seed sowing, and sacrificial offerings, which you may expect to see in your wallet every Sunday or whenever your services are scheduled.
Your courageous act may also enable you to have a sober mind, recognizing that there is no sense for believers in Christ to establish private schools in the name of Jesus Christ’s mission, with cohesive fundraising efforts for the sake of the poor. Yet, the same poor people can not afford to go to schools built with compulsive sacrificial offerings due to the extremely high cost of supposed covenant sacrificial offerings, school fees.
What you feel or decide to do is irrelevant when God is the one who calls, commissions, and sends you into His assignment. Why? Because the God who sent you on errands is the only one who holds the keys to your instruction; otherwise, you will be frustrated in tithe increments with religious business centers and become a corporate beggar in various Mountains of Fallacies. However, if selling your properties was part of the instructions you received from God when He called you, then it will surely work perfectly for you, not because you heard it from Yongi Cho, Oyedepo, Kenneth Copeland, Adeboye, or Oral Roberts. Caveat! Make sure you hear from God clearly before you allow your money or property to end up in the hands of a few religious fraudsters.
Importantly, a messenger of God must be extremely sure that you don’t sell your properties under hypnosis and depressive situation to give to a Pastor, Prophet, Overseer, or Bishop of Isaac seed sowing to buy an “evangelism private jet” nor because of your ambition to become deacon, zonal coordinator or franchise parish pastor for benefits of tithe, thanksgiving offerings, or belong to their secret cult caucus to receive franchise logo. If that is your motive, your gesture may be synonymous with stupidity, and it might subject you to lifetime captivity and bondage in the respective religious slavery camp you are calling a redemption camp for you. Beware! Why? Because the Bible says, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
The second thing I will share with you is that if you desire to be an effective messenger of God, not one of the sons and daughters of Daddy G.O., or a bishop. You must be ready to eat from the “Ravens and drink from the brooks, if necessary. In other words, you must be prepared for divine provision, persecution, loneliness, rejection, or death.
Why did you say that? I know for sure that it will happen; moreover, the work of a Prophet is not an assignment that everyone will applaud you or will want to give you a gift; in other words, if God does not send you an errand, you may die of hunger and depression or join them.
The third and final thing I will share with you, for now, is that you cannot remain with the familiar if God has truly called you and sent you on a mission. You must disengage yourself from all kinds of religious lies, deceptions, and sentiments.
Before I received my calling, I was under the tutelage of a few special, anointed religious leaders who were majoring in teaching their disciples how to be subtle in deception and sowing all kinds of seeds to receive kingdom blessings. However, for my assignment in prophetic ministry to be effective and in compliance with my commandant’s instructions, I must abandon all known tithe increments and Isaac’s sowing diplomatic and deceptive strategy, as well as the lifestyle of a supposed specially anointed daddy G.O. and bishop.
The power of the Holy Spirit is what propels a true prophet of God, Not Tithes.
Acts Chapter 2 says, “And it shall be in the last days,’ says God, ‘That I will pour out My Spirit upon all mankind; And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams; 18 Even on My bond-servants, both men and women, I will in those days pour out My Spirit, And they shall prophesy.
In conclusion, it is better not to be born again in Christ than to say you’re not going to carry out your assignment because of people’s sentiment and fear, check out your ways, and dare to take a stand continually. “For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. ” Romans 8:19.
I pray that God will give to as many people who want to stand for Him the power of the Holy Spirit needed to carry out their assignment in Jesus’ name. Amen!
