Who Is An Unbeliever?
Many Christ-followers have been erroneously thought wrongly that unbelievers are the ones that don’t go to the Church every service day, not wearing long skirts, paying tithes, first fruit, and many other religious works. or the ones that are not going around the neighborhood with big hats.
Contrary to that assumption, those that thought that’s where their blessings, paying for what Jesus Christ has given freely or thinking that is what will give them eternal life are the real unbelievers.
Many men and women of God repeatedly saying it that if someone is not a good tither or not giving first fruit as at when due they’re not going to heaven. Some even have an opinion that if you’re not attending weekly, monthly or yearly holy ghost conference or congress you’re not a believer. It is a fallacy!
BIBLICALLY, WHO IS AN UNBELIEVER?
This is what Jesus says about that, “Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:7-10. In a simpler way, anyone that enters through Jesus Christ is a believer, while an unbeliever in this term will be the opposite.
HOW CAN WE LOCATE THAT GATE?
The Apostle Paul that has been on the other side of the aisle before says, “This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Hebrews 8:10.
The above is called ratification; have you ever heard about it before
That was why Jesus Christ says that he must go, then he will send the comforter… Don’t you think that someone that asked any follower of Christ not to come into her father’s house because she’s menstruating is a thieve? Did you know that any men of god, general overseer, or bishops that are collecting the “areas of tithes, a seed of faith, or sacrificial offerings from sick persons before praying for them to be heal of cancer or any other illness, while the general overseer s and bishops have multiple doctors abroad are thieves and unbeliever?
The word unbeliever was understood to represent everything that opposes Christian faith and godliness.
1. A believer supposes to be someone that used to steal and decided to steal no more.
2. A believer can be someone that has been lying before and decided to lie no more.
3. A believer is someone that refuses to connives with thieves in other to live large at the expense of his or her neighbor or nation.
4. A believer must be someone that has made a decision to always yield to the Holy Spirit leading regardless of the consequences ahead of him or her.
5. A believer must make a decision not to take advantage of anyone, in other to favor himself or herself.
6. Genuine believers must be someone that will constantly preach the truth of the kingdom of God.
7. A believer must be someone that will not tell you to do what he or she cannot do.
8. A believer must be someone that is ready to lose all he or she has in other to gain all that God has in stock for him or her.
How can you call someone an unbeliever, yet you and your entire family are living on his or her welfare package and you’re not concern about the person’s soul?
Because many people want to play it safe by not blocking the avenue of their freebies from unbeliever to feed their entire family and even pay tithes to their god’s, while they suddenly shun their eyes unto each of their evil doings.
The irony of it is that the so-called believers can’t even help their church members, except if a daddy g.o or bishops say so, not to talk of unbelievers that we counted not to be among the household of faith.
How many people have the privilege to see this your god’s that you’re calling bishops and g.o?
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. – Professor Bernardo.
TO BECOME A BELIEVER IN CHRIST IT IS A MUST TO BREAK MANY ERRONEOUS RULES OR TEACHINGS
Even the Apostle Peter looked down on what he considered as not clean in other words an (unbelievers) before God instructed him to break away from the status quo and he reluctantly obeyed.
REMEMBER, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A CONSEQUENCE FOR EACH OF YOUR ACTIONS ARE YOU READY?
“The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God. 2 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him 3 and said, “You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them.” 4 Starting from the beginning, Peter told them the whole story: 5 “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision. I saw something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came down to where I was. 6 I looked into it and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles and birds. 7 Then I heard a voice telling me, ‘Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.’ 8 “I replied, ‘Surely not, Lord! Nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth 9. “The voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’ 10 This happened three times, and then it was all pulled up to heaven again… 11 “Right then three men who had been sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying. 12 The Spirit told me to have no hesitation about going with them. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house. 13 He told us how he had seen an angel appear in his house and say, ‘Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. 14 He will bring you a message through which you and all your household will be saved.’ 15 “As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning. 16 Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17 So if God gave them the same gift he gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could stand in God’s way?” 18 When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.” Acts 11
Caveat! Believers in Christ must proceed on their mission to the unbelievers with caution, armed with the truth, which means, the Holy Spirit’s instruction for direction, and not using your stay in their means as an opportunity to be sharing from their largesse.
