Oppression And Injustice Is A Grievous Sin

Oppression and Injustice is a Grievous Sin.

Do Christians have a conscience?

Hosea Chapter 8

“Sound the alarm! The enemy descends like an eagle on the people of the Lord, for they have broken my covenant and revolted against my law. 2 Now Israel pleads with me, Help us, for you are our God!’ 3 But it is too late. The people of Israel have rejected what is good, and now their enemies will chase after them. 4 The people have appointed kings without my consent, and princes without my approval. By making idols for themselves from their silver and gold, they have brought about their own destruction. 5 “O Samaria, I reject this calf— this idol you have made. My fury burns against you. How long will you be incapable of innocence? 6 This calf you worship, O Israel, was crafted by your own hands! It is not God! Therefore, it must be smashed to bits. 7 “They have planted the wind and will harvest the whirlwind. The stalks of grain wither and produce nothing to eat. And even if there is any grain, foreigners will eat it.

Are you wondering why many nations are facing tragedies and it seems that God is not showing up?

The simple answer to that is when religious leaders have been compromised the faith of that country will be hijacked, and the only solution to that is for someone to dare to stand in the gap.

After some years of struggling about answering God’s call, finally, when I yielded. One of the first prophesies God gave to me in 2012 included a pastor.

To present General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God

1. The Lord said; am I not the one that lifted you out from the miry clay? Why are you been diplomatic about my instructions; and perverting justice on my people? Your love for money is increasing daily; while your love for me is decreasing per second. Though people see you as a man of justice, you know that; that was before. Thus said the Lord; before the people that you have surrounded yourself with soil your clothe of righteousness and miss my reward; I have decided to bring you back home.

2. The Lord said to blow the trumpet in Zion; 3 years that will follow the death of the overseer; RCCG shall face a storm, and they may likely not overcome it, except they change their ways. PEACE!

Immediately after these prophecies were out someone came to me and said. “you have gone too far” My simple answer to him was if I am the one that orchestrated this, truly I have gone too far, but if it’s God that sent me I pleaded to him, please stop fighting for your god, and referred him to an example in the book of Judges Chapter 6:30 “Bring out your son,” the men of the town demanded of Joash. “He must die for destroying the altar of Baal and for cutting down the Asherah pole.” 31 But Joash shouted to the mob that confronted him, “Why are you defending Baal? Will you argue his case? Whoever pleads his case will be put to death by morning! If Baal truly is a god, let him defend himself and destroy the one who broke down his altar!”

The problem we have is that many people don’t want to die for confronting lies, however, they’re not only dying silently but the next generation also is dying silently and will continually go into slavery and various bondages if no one dares to stand in the gap.

For example, let’s look at the United States of America, it started with the hypocrisy of their men of God before the enemy hijacked the nation now the Christians are crying out.

Oppression and Injustice is a grievous Sin

The book of the Prophet Isaiah begins with a diatribe in which he compares the people of his own time and their rulers, to those who had lived in Sodom and Gomorrah a thousand years before.

“Hear the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!” And the sins that the prophet goes on to list and compare to the sins of Sodom have to do with oppression and injustice, not with homosexuality. “Take you vile deed out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right! Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.”

The prophet then describes Jerusalem as a city that “once was full of justice… (But now) rulers are rebels, companions of thieves, they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow’s case does not come before them.” And Isaiah goes on to warn the people that their nation will be destroyed, just as surely as Sodom had been if they do not correct these sins of social injustice. “Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling…The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves”

But the warnings of Isaiah and the other prophets who spoke of the sins of social injustice were ignored. They were speaking to a powerful nation whose people were convinced that their prosperity was a sign of God’s blessing. And the establishment priests and prophets who shared in that prosperity kept assuring the people of the Lord’s favor and protection. But in spite of such promises, the nation met with disaster.

I pray that the wrath of God will not fall on your nation in the name of Jesus. “They have planted the wind and will harvest the whirlwind. The stalks of grain wither and produce nothing to eat. And even if there is any grain, foreigners will eat it.

I wonder how any sane human being on earth with fear of God will call Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria the most corrupt president in Nigeria and the most holiness Overseers found it comfortable to be silent, while throughout his tenure he surrounded himself with the holier Christians, including traveling to and fro Jerusalem for prayer at the national expense.

Many people hold Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Ayo Oritzejafor, and Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and their cohorts in high esteem and free of corruption, yet derogate Ex-president Goodluck Jonathan daily. This kind of atrocity will be the greatest sin anyone will ever commit against his fellow human being, and God is not pleased with such. Surely only God can cure the blindness of such a nation like this and if they don’t call on to God for forgiveness, their next generations may be in greater trouble.

It may be good for any other person to have hands in a plot that removed Ex-president Good Luck Jonathan from his position, but it’s absolutely insane for a pastor, not to talk of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye to be involved in the plot that removed Jonathan. Why? Listen! Not necessarily because he’s a pastor, but because he was part of the beneficiaries of Jonathan’s corruption or favor as Christians will call it.

Brethren, your staying on the sideline will not benefit anyone, separate yourself from all hindrances so that you can be able to carry out your assignment.

Call To Salvation

If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time! Your degree, status, pedigree, wealth, and associations will not protect you from the tricks of satan which are produced in the plots and schemes of men.

Only Jesus Christ can save you, only His Blood can cover you. RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW, I ask you today, “WOULD YOU LIKE TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR?”

Please say this short prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of JESUS CHRIST. I acknowledge to you that I am a sinner, I repent of ALL my sins and the life that I lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross at CALVARY and died for my sins. Your word says in Romans 10:9 ” that if we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. “Right now I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and with my heart, I believe that God raised Him from the dead. At this very moment, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, according to His word, I am now saved. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
